"I got involved via Bridget, we've known each other for a long time and also way back when I supplied Don F with a trk called "Space Dust" for a compilation cd he did!"
Recording For Earth Born
(Alan plays bass on Earth Born and double bass on Candles)
"It was very different from anything I'd ever played on and was a real challenge!! So it was all new ground for me!
My usual technique wasn't employed here at all, it wouldn't have fit the tracks I played on! The instruments used were double bass + Rickenbacker 4003 electric bass. So SB got something new out of me, cool eh?!!"
Statement
"At the moment I'm really busy with my new band Gunslinger, it's a dirty,filthy rock/metal band and is getting alot of attention which is why I'm soooooo busy. We've got a 35 date tour for 2008 in the UK and European gigs/festivals are starting to come in. Our 1st album is out in approx 2 weeks!"
