I knew Craig when he played with Cartoon. After not seeing each other for many years, I believe we reconnected at a wake. And, then again through related jobs. Since then, I had been trying to get him to perform on Spirits Burning "Crazy Fluid" for years... and all of a sudden was able to get him to compose and record his Child Growing parts instead. Fingers still crossed for more sessions.

Craig set up two sessions at the house. First one was for us to review our ideas. And, the second time was the actual recording session. For the first session, he couldn't get a baby sitter, so he brought his daughter over. Craig and I worked in the music room with the door closed, and Karen and Craig's daughter watched a nature program about Tigers.

Craig is really a classical violinist, who happens to occasionally play some rock-based material. That's the secret of his pure sound.
