"After seeing Heed The Thunder play in Bath I not only wanted to invite Jasper to play with Spirits Burning but Matt and Alex too. Trombone and trumpet? YEAH!
At their next gig I approached Matt and both he and Alex seemed up for it, Jasper had already said yes. Pinning them down for a session was harder, and in fact I never managed to record Alex."

"Matt drove out to my place and although I had sent a cdr of the song via Jasper it hadn't made it to him so we made up his parts as we went along. Once we had three tracks down the song was full to the brim with brass and our ears were ringing!"
