"I became involved with S.B. at Don's request. I had met Don thru the extended Gong scene I believe and we had discussed having me play on some tunes he was working on. I knew that Daevid and Michael Clare had done some work with him and figured that I would be in good company! It took a while for me to work it out as I was pretty busy with Azigza and Gong Matrices projects at the time but eventually he pinned me down and I recorded some tracks for the previous cd (Found in Nature - editor). That worked out well so when Don asked me to work on this latest project I was very happy to do so!!"

"I was initially struck with the Bridget's vocals and the songwriting, which I liked. I detected a trace of the Bristol sound that mixed well with the usual electronic palette. Working with Don is always low stress and he allows a lot of freedom. I tried to keep the bass lines simple and in the service of the song as I knew there would be plenty going on top!
On the previous project I had used an Ebow on the bass in some spots but on Earth Born I just used a straight 5 string fretless."
