"I invited Rich to be a part of this CD right at the beginning. He has featured in so many mutual musical projects I wanted him there. Richard can be a hard man to track down...leaves no footprints. However I dropped off a CD of 3 early versions of tracks for him to listen to and to decide whether to play. He thought it was worth having a bash and had an apache drum he wanted to use on Crafted From Wood."

"Richard came round with his drum and Korg Electribe. The acoustic drum proved no problem and was done in one take. However, the Korg was another matter...a midi matter in fact... As explained on the home studio page, we were new to home recording and getting the machines to talk to each other was a nightmare. One that did eventually have a happy ending but not at that session."
Statement

"Our music is about trancing and it's about sort of sliding into another world, really. And the whole idea of the space ritual or the space concept was that... there's an external view of it which is outer space and there's an internal view of it which is inner space, you know. And hopefully the music is a soundtrack that allows you to look into both those places."
