Involvement with Spirits Burning

Bridget talks

"I re-connected with Simon on myspace after not hearing from him for 18 years!. Not long afterwards I invited him to become involved with Spirits Burning. I thought he'd be interested to work on a song that Richard was on as I knew they got on socially and musically and hurray... I had a positive response! I sent him an early version of Earth Born and Simon recorded and affected his violin parts then emailed them to Don. Simon suggested we might do a musical swap and sent me two songs from his Eden Opera...a real challenge, not my usual style and great fun to do! Later we invited him to work on Always and his violinnings were emailed to Don for... Encorporation :-)"

Statement

According to Wikipedia

"Prior to Hawkwind, House played in High Tide, a band he helped form, and the Third Ear Band, who contributed the soundtrack to Roman Polanski's Macbeth. He joined Hawkwind in 1974, playing on some of their classic albums, before leaving for David Bowie's band in 1978.

Along with other Hawkwind members, he guested on science fiction author Michael Moorcock's New World's Fair in 1975 and has also played on solo projects by former Hawkwind members Robert Calvert and Nik Turner.

Since the 1970s, as well as playing in a re-formed High Tide, and rejoining Hawkwind during 2001-03, House has released albums under his own name."
